Who will be providing the practical training sessions?
All the injectable training courses at Cosmed Training Academy will be run and directed by a team of highly skilled and experienced medical and healthcare professionals, including Nurses, Doctors, and Dentists.
These trainers not only have a strong medical professional background but also work as Aesthetic Practitioners within their own clinics. This combination of medical expertise and aesthetic practical experience ensures that you receive training from professionals who are actively engaged in the field of medical aesthetics, which enables them to teach you not only the very best techniques and approaches but also enables them to share best practices and real-world insights based on their own clinical experiences.
What entry criteria and prerequisites are required to attend Cosmed Academy’s Training courses?
For Botulinum toxin training courses
All attending delegates must be medical or healthcare professionals who have an active current registration with a recognised governing body in Ireland or the UK. Evidence of delegate’s registration will be required when booking onto this course. We cannot offer training to you if you have any open or pending investigations, restrictions to practice or suspensions of your membership.
For Dermal filler/Skin Boosters/Polynucleotides/Exosomes/PRP and other Injectable training courses
Doctors/Dentists/Prescribing Nurses and non-Prescribing Nurses/Prescribing Midwives and non-Prescribing Midwives/Prescribing Pharmacists and non-Prescribing Pharmacists can attend these courses.
All attending delegates must be medical or healthcare professionals who have an active current registration with either a Medical, Dental, Nursing, Midwifery or Pharmaceutical body in Ireland or the UK. Evidence of delegate’s registration will be required when booking onto this course. We cannot offer training to you if you have any open or pending investigations, restrictions to practice or suspensions of your membership.
No prior aesthetic experience is necessary to attend the Foundation level injectable courses. However, all delegates attending an advanced injectable course must have previously completed a Foundation course at either Cosmed Academy or any other academy. For Skin Peels, Topical Exosomes and Medical Microneedling and Mesotherapy and NCTF + Nanosoft Microneedle training courses
Doctors/Dentists/Nurses/Midwives/Pharmacists (as above) and Beauty therapists with NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications can attend these courses. Evidence of qualification will be required when booking onto these courses.
Will I gain practical experience during the Training day?
At Cosmed Training Academy, our emphasis is on small trainer: delegate ratios and providing ample hands-on practical experience, this sets us apart from other training providers. We firmly believe that the practical aspect is crucial for every delegate to truly understand and gain the confidence needed to perform treatments effectively once the course ends.

This course was brilliant from start to finish. I attended the Intro to Botox and Advanced Botox courses run at the CosMED Academy in Dublin. The staff were courteous and welcoming. The venue is clean and the training room has ample space. Jennifer was an amazing teacher, cannot recommend her enough! She took the time to explain things in basic ways and made sure we had plenty of practical time with the models. Jade and the staff made sure we had the course materials even as they were changing live on the day. All in all this was a great 2-day experience and I will look into using CosMED to further my aesthetics career in the future. Thanks again!
I attended both the foundation and advanced Botulinum Toxin course last week. It was a great start to this aesthetic journey I am embarking on. The course was led by Dr. Jennifer. Her ability to lead and teach was second to none, and I am very happy that I chose Cosmed training academy. Once I have embedded the skills I have acquired today, I will be returning for further studies.

I can't recommend any other place than this for medical trainings, they are very professional and reliable. It is my second time taking a training with them and i am fully delighted i chose them to do so.

I haven’t done the PRP training there ( as I started to train for this in 205) in 2015 ! but my current colleagues at Vista Clinic, have trained there and the amount of up to date information they have got from Cosmed training is just amazing , Anna make sûres she shares her almost 30 years of experience in Aesthetics with her delegates. Great staff too and the location is super!

I’ve done training in Cosmed a few times, and can’t say enough of how wonderful the academy is. The facilities are impeccable, and so are the staff. I was there recently to train with the Belotero range of fillers, and had a fantastic experience. The trainer Anna was so lovely and knowledgeable, and she shared many great injecting tips with me. If you are keen on learning anything in aesthetics, Cosmed is the place to go to for training. I am looking forward to being back there again, hopefully soon!
