Cosmed Aesthetic Training Academy have an ongoing requirement for cosmetic models for all of our training courses. Both men and women of all ages are welcome to apply to be a cosmetic model at Cosmed for any of our upcoming training days. Whether you are looking for anti-wrinkle treatment, volume replacement, facial contouring, hand rejuvenation or anti-sweating treatment, we will be able to develop a personalised treatment plan to suit you. All treatments performed at our training days are at a reduced rate.
Cosmetic models receive treatment on one of our training days which are held at a world class training facility in Dublin. The treatments are performed by healthcare professionals (doctors, dentists and nurses) under the close supervision of our expert trainers.

Treatment Description
Over time, the face develops wrinkles through the repeated use of facial muscles and a loss of skin elasticity. This process can be accelerated in some people through the stresses of hard work or a busy lifestyle.
Anti-wrinkle injections (Botulinum toxin) can be delivered to the area’s most commonly affected these dynamic facial wrinkles which include the brow region (between the eyebrows), the forehead (worry lines) and the crow’s feet area (laughter lines).
These injections work to relax the muscles of the face, reduce and soften wrinkles and create a more youthful look. Anti-wrinkle injections also act to prevent the development or progression of these wrinkles.

Treatment Description
Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) is a common problem that can cause great inconvenience and social embarrassment. This can have detrimental effects on self-confidence and the deprive people of the freedom to enjoy social activities.
Botulinum toxin injections can be administered to treat excessive sweating of the arm pits, hands, feet, forehead and scalp areas. Botulinum toxin works to block the stimulation of sweat glands, reducing the amount of sweat produced.

Treatment Description
Overactivity or chronic spasm of the chin muscles (mentalis) can lead to excessive prominence of the chin and an unattractive dimpling / pebbling effect on the skin surface. The mentalis muscle can also cause the chin to appear very narrow or bulbous which is considered equally undesirable.

Sclerotherapy leg vein removal treatment is a medical treatment used to treat and eliminate spider veins on legs including reticular veins. A solution called a sclerosing agent is injected into the veins to break down the vein wall, eliminating the unsightly appearance of the veins.

As these are training courses, every delegate will train at a different speed. This means that the waiting times for you as a model can be slightly longer than that of a clinic appointment.
Due to the clinical environment you are not permitted to bring children along with you. We understand you may want to bring someone else with you to your appointment but we do ask that this is kept to a minimum. If you do bring someone along please note they are not allowed to go into the treatment room with you.
Due the nature of the treatments that we offer we ask patients to respect the privacy of others.
We are required to take before and after photos of your treatment to keep on your file.
On booking your model appointment we require you to pay a €50 deposit, this will be deducted from the total cost of the treatment. The remaining balance must be paid on or before the day of the treatment.
If you cancel your appointment with 3 working days notice we can transfer your deposit to another appointment or give you a full refund. If you cancel within 3 working days of your appointment you will not be entitled to a refund. Depending on the discretion of the company you may be entitled to transfer your deposit to another appointment. A deposit can only be transferred once. If you do not attend an appointment your deposit will be lost.
Due to the nature of training, on occasion we may need to cancel or change your appointment. You will be advised of this and an alternative appointment will be offered on another day/course.

Please find below our terms and conditions relevant for Models attending a Cosmetic Courses training day. If you have any questions on the below please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Appointment
As these are training courses, every delegate will train at a different speed. This means that the waiting times for you as a model can be slightly longer than that of a clinic appointment.
Due the clinical environment we practice in we strongly advise you not to bring children to your appointment. We understand you may want to bring someone else with you to your appointment but we do ask that this is kept to a minimum. If you do bring someone along please note they are not allowed to go into the treatment room with you.

Before & After Photos

Treatment Reviews
If you feel you need a review following your treatment then please contact the team on 01844 390110 or email us at [email protected] where we will endeavour to book you in for a review appointment. In most cases, we will recommend you leave the results of your treatment to settle for approximately 2 weeks following treatment. If you have had a Botox treatment with us, a review appointment can only take place between 2 and 3 weeks post-treatment. In some cases, you may need to travel to a different clinic for your review from where you had your original treatment.
