What is Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy?
Platelet Rich Plasma is a revolutionary skin rejuvenation treatment which involves extracting platelets, growth factors and stem cells from a blood sample and re-injecting them back into the skin to cause regeneration and improvements to the condition of the skin. PRP treatment naturally increases elasticity and collagen production assisting and as a results helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles especially around the delicate eye area and is also a popular treatment for hair thinning and acne scarring. The skin is re-plumped and rejuvenated creating a youthful, radiant glow. Platelet Rich Plasma treatment is also hugely popular for hair thinning and hair loss.

What does PRP treatment involve?
A small amount of blood is drawn and placed in a sterile tube, then spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the red blood cells. This plasma now has a higher than normal number of platelets, thus making it platelet-rich plasma, a concentrated clear plasma. This plasma can be
injected directly into specific areas of the skin using a cannula or a needle to place in areas of concern. The combination of RegenPRP® and RegenATS®  offers different application possibilities. The addition of autologous thrombin serum (ATS) to the Regen PRP physiologically starts the coagulation process and thus enables the production of a leukocyte-reduced platelet gel. This natural process induces the formation of a three-dimensional fibrin matrix in which the platelets are embedded. This enables long-lasting growth factor delivery at the treatment site and the matrix serves as a scaffold for new tissue reconstruction By adding ATS to the liquid PRP, different strengths can be achieved. In this way, Regen PRP can be brought into the optimal state and shape for the respective application. The result is a leukocyte-reduced platelet gel (platelets embedded in the fibrin matrix), which can also be used as a dimensionally stable membrane if required for areas of volume or collagen loss.

Regen Skin

RegenSkin has been created through a patented process, the 4DHA is made up of HA in four molecular weights:

  • Large molecular weight HA
  • Medium molecular weight HA
  • Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate
  • miniHA®- Small molecular weight HA.

Each weight is developed to penetrate skin at different depths – the larger the molecule, the better the protection at the superficial skin layer; the smaller the molecule, the deeper it can be penetrated for absorption. Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate can help to Help to promote high affinity and adsorption properties of HA for skin. This makes the RegenSkin 4DHA more effective than ordinary HA at fulfilling a range of regenerative and hydration functions, improving the health of your skin from within.

RegenSkin has developed a complete Pre- and -Post treatment skin care collection. Regen Skin Collection is a comprehensive set that keeps pre- and post-procedure skin feeling clean and hydrated. Offering five formulas, this collection includes potent, natural active ingredients which help to boost the skin's natural regeneration process and help maintain its optimal health and hydration.

The products in the range are:
1. Cellular Mask™
2. RegenSkin™ Deep Hydrating Lotion
3. RegenSkin™ Deep Hydrating Eye Cream
4. RegenSkin™ Deep Hydrating Facial Cream
5. RegenLift™ Serum ampoules

There has also been significant clinical testing on the products with really positive outcomes and statistically significant increases in skin firmness and elasticity from using the products was observed.

FAQs

  • Cellular Matrix® tubes allow the preparation of autologous platelet-rich plasma (RegenPRP®) combined with a non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid (HA) in a closed-circuit system

    • Certified technology for the preparation of RegenPRP® combined with hyaluronic acid (HA) (CM-PRP-HA)
    • Contains 2 ml of non-crosslinked HA at a concentration of 20 mg/ml (40 mg total)
    • When PRP and HA are used in combination these effects are enhanced and prolonged. HA creates a bioactive scaffolding in which the platelets progressively release their growth factors. RegenPRP does not negatively affect the mechanical, elastic or viscous properties of HA.
    • Hyaluronic acid improves the activity of several molecules contained in platelet-rich plasm

PRF Autologous Thrombin Serum (ATS) is prepared from the patient’s own blood. It contains activated autologous thrombin. Thrombin is the enzyme that converts soluble fibrinogen to fibrin monomers which polymerise to form the clot. The addition of ATS to the platelet concentrate, activates the coagulation process in a physiological manner, inducing the formation of a 3D fibrin matrix in which the platelets are entrapped. It allows a long-lasting growth factor delivery at the treatment site, where the matrix serves as scaffold for new tissue reconstruction.

You will receive a training certificate upon successful completion of your course which will enable you to source insurance.
